THE ELEPHANT MAN

It was my birthday on the 10th August (just a few little days ago) And as well as taking me out to Gordon Ramsays beautiful restaurant Maze, my darling boyfriend got me a David Lynch boxset. This included his master piece The Elephant Man.

  • I plugged it in the DVD player.

  • Sat down.

  • Got my little bowl of ice cream. (even my cat Bella sat down and had some ice cream too) (Except she had a VERY little bit)

  • Clicked play.

And then I cried. I cried like a little bitch. I have to say that The Elephant Man is one of the sadest things ive seen. The way he talks and how upset he gets when a beautiful lady is nice to him. After the movie I wanted to know more about Joseph Merricks life. I plan to buy books and find out ALOT. My dad once saw his skelton in Royal London Hospital. Amaaaazing!

OH MY GOD
I LOVE IT

(a lot)

CLOCHE HAT

Fuck me, I love these hats. I have alot to thank the 1920's for; Fur, looking awesome as you smoke and Cloche hats. I can not wait til I get my hands on one of these babies. Every time I go into a charity shop I search for one! I love the way they frame your face and just peak at the cheek bones. One day I will have one..

Dear Siary, New Bathroom Please?

BATHROOM VANITY

my favorite room in the house

Why do I love this bathroom so? Theres something so beasty about it. I just imagine arabs walking around with a pipe on draft and the odd camel head poping by that large window. And why is there an Xmas tree in the middle? I think a big bubble bath with his and hers and in need...

Dear Siary, YSL

YSL

LINGERIE PINK

I have been out the blogging loop recently. But after a much needed shot of Shona on the phone I decided to blog away. Lipstick. Okay. I never wear lipstick, I never have bought one or wear one as i look like a Essex slag. BUT, during a trip to the make up department of House Of Fraser, I came across the YSL stand and instantly fell in love with the above. The new lips Rouge Volupte lipstick. The shiny gold mixed with the subtle pink caught my eye and set my heart a flutter. I tried some on walked around the other stalls just to see how the lipstick wore. It wore... It wore very well! with some help from the other half I decided on the shade with the delicious name of Lingerie Pink. I got all excited as this was the first lipstick I was going to buy and for a twenty one year old girl that was rather a feat! I proudly asked the YSL lady for the lipstick. I didn't even ask the price. But much to my horror she said no. Can you believe it? NO? WHAT DO YOU MEAN, NO?*!?*? They was out of Lingerie Pink. She offered me another similar shade yet it just would not do. My whole build up for this beautiful piece of man made perfection was a waste. Once I found out it was £20 I didn't care too much....

Dear Siary, Meat

I work in Clapham Common every Saturday and in the office we all know when lunch time is near. We hear growls and the men start beating their chests whilst standing on the desks. So we are very lucky indeed we work near a butchers called M Moen & Sons. This butchers has to be one of my favorite places in London. When you walk inside its like being in a time capsule as its pretty much just as it would have been in the Victorian times! The place is a feast for the eyes let alone the belly! Cured meats, a deli counter, fresh veggies and all the things you can think of galore! They have an amazing deal where you get a baguette and get to pick pretty much anything you like off their deli counter put in for an amazing £3 [not a skimpy size baguette either. Its about the size of my elbow to wrist measurment] So if your ever in Clapham or London and feel the need for meat inside you, dont head to the back streets of soho. Head here!

PS: This is the size of my deformed arm in comparison to a coke can for those interested in the size of the baguette!
